This is part of my research on movement in space and new ways to represent this. It is essentially a series of 360° panoramas following a path through a space. These spherical images are converted to an angular projection, which introduces a typical distortion. The further you get away from the center, the more distortion. The center of the image is determined by 3 parameters: pan, tilt en roll. I animated these parameters resulting in a sense of movement and deformation of the space.

Cross-Over is the name for the interdisciplinary filmexperiments at Artcinema OFFoff. I was invited to make a piece together with David De Buyser. I made the visuals, David did a live audio performance.

We had to evoke the feeling of the first pages of a book and use the first sentence in the clip. The book is about a guy who's suddenly exposed to the harsh outside world he has been hiding from in his math bubble.

Winning entry for Poetry Hacking, a contest organized for Poetry Day in Belgium. The goal of the contest was to visualize a poem. I took "Kraaien", a poem by Ruth Lasters. It's about losing someone, confusing thoughts that are tearing you apart while you try to understand and accept the loss.
